Always

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." 1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV

Always! We often overuse the word, using it without pausing to think of its significance. "He, She, They always...(fill in the blank)." Of course, it’s likely they don't always, perhaps often but not always. But "always" means "at all times,” not just now and then.

Today's verse encourages us to seek God's face continually. We should constantly, consistently look to the Lord for strength, wisdom, and guidance. When we establish this relationship as the foremost important thing in our lives, a beautiful transformation happens. As we continue to see his will in our lives, we mature and grow in his grace.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your steadfast love. Please help us remember always to seek your will in our lives and transform us into the image of Jesus Christ. Amen.
