"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Romans 8:31 ESV
At times we are faced with challenges in our lives that seem unbeatable. As Christians, we meet these times with the unshakeable confidence that God is for us. We know this not only because we have faith but also because we have experienced his past grace. In that same faith, we believe that God will continue to be with us every step of the way through whatever challenges life we face in the future.
As Christians, we know "God is for us." In our acceptance and faith in him comes this peace. Just like having someone with whom you have an intimate relationship say "I love you,” we need to hear the reminder that God is still on our side. It is an affirmation of what we know to be true.
Almighty God, we give thanks that you are for us. We acknowledge that you are greater than any opposition we face. We accept this grace and pray for you to use us to share this promise with others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
